FAMILY OPERATED
BUSINESS GIVES BACK
If you are looking for five-star Mexican
cuisine in a festive and fun atmosphere,
Mama Mexico
all of that and more. Enjoy over 120 dishes,
including many vegetarian plates, 78
kinds of tequila or their infamous guacamole
while listening to the live mariachi
band. Senior Vice President
Jr.,
Campos
with a good experience is one of their
main goals. Giving back to the community
and helping those who may not usually be
able to afford the authentic Mexican food
is also an important objective of Mama
Mexico. Since day one, the restaurant has
been involved with school systems and
not-for-profit organizations such as the
March of Dimes and the Center for Food
Action. This family-owned business
donates lunches to area schools for no
cost and brings the entertainment of the
mariachi band and Mexican folklore
dancers to teach students the Hispanic
culture. For one school in the area, Mama
Mexico gives out “charity tickets” for the
students and faculty to spend at the
restaurant. Once the bill is paid, 15 percent
of the proceeds are given back to the
school on a weekly basis. With that
money, the school is able to purchase
supplies and is saving up for a flat screen
TV for one of the classrooms. In addition,
the restaurant accommodates anyone and
everyone, offering food and/or gift certificates
to numerous charities in the community.
